Kling 3.0 — prepared-frame test
Uses a prepared first frame already containing the couple, zombie styling and aimed gun. The gun stays visibly aimed before lowering; both hands are empty for the embrace. Around 9.5 seconds there is a hard cut to a healthy smiling woman in a warm interior, not the requested snowy hillside. The camera side changes and the embrace pose resets. The man initiates the hug. Rendering cost and time exclude personalized first-frame preparation. Single synthetic-cast pipeline test; not an isolated same-input model comparison.

Exact test prompt
3s: Preserve both characters from the first frame: man LEFT in navy sweater, zombie woman RIGHT in cream sweater. Cold abandoned snowy cabin. Side two-shot: he aims the handgun visibly at her torso. Her ash-grey skin and cloudy pale eyes remain recognizable. No firing, blood or injury. 1s: Close-up on the same human man, recognizable short dark hair and navy sweater. He recognizes his zombie lover, eyes wet and hands trembling, and cannot fire. Same cold cabin, same camera side. No dialogue or text. 2s: Same cabin two-shot, man LEFT woman RIGHT. He clearly lowers the gun away from her toward the floor and sets it on the nearby table. Open both EMPTY arms. No weapon pointed during contact. Preserve faces, hair and clothes. 2s: Same side two-shot. Zombie woman takes one small step into the human man’s open empty arms. They gently embrace; he catches her. Hold the hug. No attack, bite or fighting. Preserve man LEFT woman RIGHT and the camera axis. 4s: ONE HARD CUT mid-hug to a golden sunny snowy hillside FLASHBACK. Same two people, man LEFT woman RIGHT, same sweaters, camera side and embrace pose. Woman now healthy with natural skin, freckles, green eyes, auburn hair, no zombie makeup. They hug and smile. No weapon or magical cure. END in this happy memory, never return to cabin. Quiet winter ambience, no dialogue, text, logos or music.
Cabin → sunny snow
Zombie love story — the featured example
The survivor aims at his zombie partner, recognizes her, puts down the gun and embraces her. The scene gradually changes to sunny snow, with the same partner looking healthy. This is our accepted visual direction. Faces and hands can vary, and one synthetic-cast test does not establish identical results for every photo.

Exact test prompt
Create a photorealistic 12-second portrait 9:16 short film using exactly the two adult portrait references. Reference 1 is the HUMAN MAN with short dark hair and navy sweater. Reference 2 is his ZOMBIE LOVER, the auburn-haired woman with freckles and cream sweater. Preserve each reference face, hair, clothing and body identity throughout. The man is never a zombie. This is recognition and compassion followed by a FLASHBACK, not a magical cure. Use only these five simple shots and finish exactly in the happy memory: 0–3 seconds: medium SIDE-ANGLE two-shot inside an abandoned snowy cabin, cool grey light. Man at screen LEFT, zombie woman at screen RIGHT facing him. Both faces and the handgun are clearly visible. He already holds the handgun raised with its muzzle visibly aimed toward her torso. Her recognizable face has ash-grey-green movie-zombie skin, dark eye sockets and cloudy pale eyes. No blood, wounds or biting. No firing, muzzle flash or gunshot. 3–4 seconds: close on the man's eyes and trembling hands. He recognizes his lover and cannot shoot. Stay on the same camera side; no character or costume swaps. 4–6 seconds: medium two-shot. Clearly show him LOWER the gun away from her toward the floor, put it on the nearby table and open BOTH EMPTY ARMS. The weapon is no longer aimed during any contact. 6–8 seconds: same side-angle two-shot, man LEFT and woman RIGHT. She takes a short step into his arms; he catches her in a gentle embrace. Show a simple readable hug, no fighting or attack. Hold their shared pose for the cut. 8–12 seconds: ONE HARD CUT to a warm golden sunny snowy hillside FLASHBACK. Keep the same camera side, man LEFT, woman RIGHT, same embrace, same framing and movement. The same auburn-haired woman now has HEALTHY natural fair skin, freckles and clear green eyes, with no zombie makeup. Same navy and cream sweaters. They continue the hug, smile at one another and stay together in warm sunlight. No weapon, no magical light, no transformation effect. END in this warm memory; never return to the cabin. Prioritize readable aimed gun → recognition → gun lowered → embrace → healthy happy memory. No extra establishing shots, montage, running, dialogue, text, logos or copyrighted song. Quiet natural winter ambience only. Keep normal hands and human anatomy. The memory cut should preserve the embrace and screen direction without a camera-axis flip.
Cabin → happy snow memory
The 12-second test
The 12-second output clearly shows an aimed gun, recognition, lowering and setting down the gun before the embrace, then a hard cut to a healthy happy snowy memory. Screen direction and the shared hug remain substantially consistent across the cut, improving on the portrait 21-second sample’s obvious axis reversal. The man approaches and initiates the hug; the woman does not clearly rush into his arms. There are small pose/framing changes and general AI face/hand variability. This is a single synthetic-cast result, not a repeatability or customer-likeness guarantee.

The story in portrait
A portrait-format test with the same cast and story as the landscape sample. The aimed gun, hesitation, lowering before the embrace and healthy snowy memory are readable. At the memory cut, the camera axis reverses and the pose jumps; this is not a seamless match cut. Character identities are broadly consistent, but repeatability across other people and 720p quality remain untested.

Exact test prompt
Create a photorealistic 21-second cinematic zombie love story in portrait 9:16, with clean hard cuts and natural film texture. Two fictional adults only. @Image1 / reference image 1 identifies the human man, dark short hair and navy sweater. @Image2 / reference image 2 identifies his female partner, auburn hair, freckles and cream sweater. Preserve their actual facial structure, hair, proportions and clothes throughout, including the memory. The man always stays human. In the cold present only, the woman has clearly visible non-gory zombie styling: ash-grey skin, dark eye sockets and cloudy pale irises. In the happy memory she has natural fair skin and clear green eyes. No blood, wounds, biting, firing, muzzle flashes or gunshots. No dialogue, titles, logos or song; restrained natural cabin and snow ambience. The story is chronological: he aims at his zombie lover, recognizes her, cannot shoot, lowers the handgun and opens his arms; she runs into his embrace; their shared movement becomes a healthy happy memory. End in that memory. Never return to the cold present. Never show a weapon in the memory. This is a remembered past, not a magical cure in the present. Cold location: ruined snowy cabin, cold blue-grey window light, weathered kitchen. Warm location: a sunny snowy hillside, golden low sun, soft powder. Keep the action axis consistent: man on screen left facing right, woman on screen right facing left. Establish the handgun, its muzzle direction and the woman in the SAME medium two-shot. His extended arm points right toward her upper torso, with the barrel aligned toward her; do not point it at an unrelated corner or off-screen space. Keep this side of the action axis for all cabin shots. Shot plan (21 seconds total): 1 / 0.0-1.2: medium side two-shot, man left and zombie woman right, both recognizable. He holds the handgun toward her; barrel-to-partner alignment is unambiguous. 2 / 1.2-2.4: over his left shoulder, his extended arm and handgun foreground, the woman clearly in its line beyond, cloudy zombie eyes visible. 3 / 2.4-3.8: close-up of his wet eyes and trembling expression; he recognizes his lover and cannot shoot. 4 / 3.8-5.2: her face in cold window light, same auburn hair and cream sweater, clear zombie appearance, sorrowful recognition rather than aggression. 5 / 5.2-6.8: side medium shot of the man slowly lowering the handgun toward the floor, away from her. No shot fired. 6 / 6.8-8.0: he sets the gun down out of reach and opens both empty arms, still left facing right. 7 / 8.0-9.2: the woman on the right takes a short running step left and reaches around his shoulders. She seeks an embrace, never attacks. 8 / 9.2-9.8: fixed side medium-wide shot. She leaps into him, arms around his neck; he catches her around her waist, both tilt gently down and left. Her legs trail right. Freeze the camera position and preserve their shared embrace, screen positions and motion direction for the next cut. 9 / 9.8-10.6: HARD MATCH CUT mid-movement to the sunny snowy hillside. Same camera height, distance, angle and body pose: the identical two people continue the leftward tilt and fall gently into soft snow. She is now completely healthy, same face, hair and sweater. The location, light and her zombie styling change; the couple's pose and movement continue seamlessly. No dissolve, glow or morph. 10 / 10.6-12.2: low side angle, both laughing and holding each other in powder snow, golden backlight. 11 / 12.2-14.1: close-up of her healthy smiling face against his shoulder, natural skin and clear green eyes, auburn hair. 12 / 14.1-15.8: close-up of his relieved happy face, same hair and navy sweater, warm light. 13 / 15.8-17.4: wider view of both sitting together in snow, hands joined, sharing a small playful laugh. 14 / 17.4-19.2: they stand and walk hand in hand across the hillside, still recognizable, simple restrained motion. 15 / 19.2-21.0: warm medium two-shot, she rests her head on his shoulder and they embrace. Hold on their happy healthy faces and end in the memory. Prioritize a legible aimed-gun conflict, stable identities, lowering the gun BEFORE the embrace, and the same-motion embrace-to-memory cut. Keep human arms and hands anatomically plausible. Do not add extra characters, extra locations or a return-to-present ending.
Cabin → happy snow memory
An embrace becomes a memory
The gun visibly points toward the zombie partner. He hesitates, lowers and puts it down, then catches her embrace before the cut to a healthy snowy memory. The shared movement is readable, but the pose resets slightly at the cut. One successful development test at 480p; This landscape comparison is retained alongside the portrait test; repeatability remains unvalidated.

Cabin → memory → cabin
He cannot pull the trigger
He raises and aims the gun, hesitates, remembers a joyful healthy moment, then returns to lower the gun and embrace. Zombie styling weakens during the final embrace, and his memory-scene clothing changes. A revised development test, still photorealistic.

Exact test prompt
Create a cinematic photorealistic 15-second vertical 9:16 zombie love story with four clearly separated narrative beats: AIM, HESITATE, HAPPY FLASHBACK, RETURN AND LOWER THE GUN. This is a fictional adult couple in a non-gory zombie movie. Never fire the gun. No muzzle flash, gunshot, blood or injury. IDENTITY: image 1 is the healthy adult man, short brown hair, navy sweater. Image 2 is his adult female partner, auburn hair and cream sweater. Keep both faces and clothes recognizable across all shots. Only the woman is a zombie in the present. She is a healthy human in the flashback. The man always remains human. SHOT 1, seconds 0-4, cold present: medium side-angle two-shot in a ruined snowy cabin. The woman stands on screen left with clearly visible grey-green zombie makeup, dark eye sockets and cloudy pale eyes, while her facial structure and auburn hair remain recognizable. The man stands on screen right, visibly raises a handgun and points its barrel toward her upper body. Both the aimed gun and her face must be readable together. His hands tremble slightly; he recognizes her and cannot pull the trigger. No firing. Her expression is confused and subdued, not attacking. SHOT 2, seconds 4-5: close-up of the same man's face. Wet eyes, a trembling breath, painful recognition. The gun is still raised offscreen. He remembers who she was. This is an emotional hesitation, not a fight or a triumphant action scene. SHOT 3, seconds 5-10, HAPPY MEMORY: a decisive hard cut to the same two people on a sunny snowy hillside in warm golden light. The woman is a healthy human with natural fair skin, freckles and clear green eyes, absolutely no zombie makeup. Both smile and laugh as she playfully leans into his arms; a short joyful movement and a hug. Keep their faces visible. This is a memory of their relationship before the apocalypse, not a magical cure happening in the cabin. No gun in the memory. SHOT 4, seconds 10-15, RETURN TO PRESENT: a decisive hard cut back to the original ruined cabin, same cool light, same screen positions. The woman is visibly a zombie again. The man lowers the gun completely, away from her and toward the floor. He opens his free arm and gently embraces her. Finish with an emotional close two-shot; her zombie face remains visible beside his shoulder. The healthy flashback must be followed by the return to the cold present. Do not end on the sunny memory. No firing or violence. Restrained natural acting, clear shot changes, plausible arms and hands. Quiet wind and breath only, no dialogue, no song, no captions, no logo. Prioritize the raised gun, hesitation, joyful healthy memory, and return to lower the gun over complicated camera motion.
Rainy city → golden beach
Still your best friend
Grey fur and cloudy zombie eyes become healthy golden fur and natural eyes on the beach. The dog, teal collar and owner remain recognizable. The model used a short dissolve rather than the requested hard cut; small hand and paw details remain variable.

Exact test prompt
Photorealistic 12-second vertical 9:16 zombie-dog reunion film, using both independent image references. Image 1 is the healthy adult woman: auburn hair, cream sweater, natural skin and green eyes; she never becomes a zombie. Image 2 is her golden retriever with its teal collar. FIRST SCENE 0-6 seconds: rainy abandoned city, dog is a clearly visible non-gory movie zombie. Start close on its full face and collar: recognizable golden-retriever face, desaturated ash-grey fur with grey-green tint, visibly cloudy WHITE eyes, dull lifeless expression. No blood, wounds, pain or aggression. It is recognizably the reference dog transformed, not a normal golden dog. Show the healthy woman kneeling beside it and gently embracing its shoulders. The dog stands naturally on four legs. At 6 seconds, hard match cut on the embrace to a warm golden beach. SECOND SCENE 6-12 seconds: the same dog is fully restored and healthy, shiny GOLDEN fur, natural BROWN eyes, teal collar, a relaxed open mouth and gentle tail wag; same healthy auburn-haired woman and cream sweater. Both faces are visible together as she strokes its head and smiles. Essential visible before/after transformation: grey fur and white zombie eyes in city versus golden fur and brown healthy eyes on beach. Preserve identity, breed, collar and anatomical paws. Simple action, no weapons, no supernatural glowing beams, no text/logos, no dialogue or song, just quiet rain then waves.
Cabin → sunny snow
Earlier embrace-only test
Earlier exploratory run without the aimed-gun conflict. It demonstrates cold-to-warm appearance and an embrace, but it does not reproduce the original gun-and-flashback storyline. Kept here for comparison.

Exact test prompt
Generate a photorealistic 12-second vertical 9:16 film with exactly two characters from the independent portrait references. Image 1: healthy human man in a navy sweater. Image 2: auburn-haired woman in a cream sweater, transformed into a visibly recognizable non-gory movie zombie in the first scene. The zombie appearance is essential: desaturated grey-green skin, dark hollow eye sockets, cloudy pale-white irises, stiff expression. Keep her actual facial structure, hair and cream sweater. No injuries, no blood. First scene 0-6 seconds: ruined snowy cabin, cool grey light. Start with both characters visibly facing camera at three-quarter angle, woman on the left, man on the right, medium shot with both complete faces clearly readable. He recognizes her, then opens empty hands and they gently approach for an embrace. No weapons anywhere. Hold a clear view of her zombie face before the embrace. At 6 seconds: hard cut on the embrace to a sunny snowy hillside with warm golden light. Second scene 6-12 seconds: exactly the same man and woman, same hair and clothes, continuing the same embrace. The woman is completely healthy now: natural fair skin, freckles, clear GREEN eyes, smiling peaceful expression, no grey-green tint. End on both happy faces in a shared embrace. Simple human arm anatomy and restrained movement. This is a zombie-to-healthy transformation story, not two healthy people in both scenes. No captions, logos, text, song or dialogue; quiet natural ambience only.
Rainy city → warm beach
Zombie dog reunion — rainy city to warm beach
The recognizable golden retriever has grey zombie styling and cloudy eyes in the rainy city. Its healthy adult owner recognizes it, kneels and gently embraces it. The scene gradually changes to a golden beach, with the same dog looking healthy and the owner stroking its head. This is a single synthetic-cast example. Likeness, paws, hands and transitions can vary for other photos.

Exact test prompt
Create a photorealistic 12-second portrait 9:16 zombie-dog reunion using exactly two independent references. Reference 1 is the healthy adult HUMAN OWNER. Reference 2 is their DOG. Preserve the person's own face, hair and clothing. Preserve the dog's breed, muzzle, ears, size, original coat pattern and collar if present. Do not replace either reference with a stock character. The human never becomes a zombie; the dog remains a dog with natural four-legged anatomy. 0–3 seconds: rainy abandoned city street in cool grey light. Show a clear close view of the recognizable reference dog with non-gory movie-zombie styling: desaturated ash-grey coat, cloudy pale eyes and a subdued expression. No blood, wounds, visible pain, aggression or biting. The healthy owner notices and recognizes the dog. 3–6 seconds: medium side shot. The owner kneels and opens both empty arms; the dog walks a short distance toward them on four natural legs. Show both faces clearly. No running or jumping. 6–8 seconds: the owner gently embraces the dog's shoulders at its height and strokes its head. The dog stands naturally, with normal paws. Preserve their identities, shared position and camera side. 8–12 seconds: gradually transition during the gentle embrace into a beach in golden evening light. The SAME dog now has its original healthy coat colors and pattern, natural eyes, same ears, muzzle and collar. The SAME adult owner smiles and strokes its head; the dog gently wags its tail. Preserve framing and the shared embrace through the transition. End in the healthy warm scene; never return to the cold city. Prioritize recognizable zombie dog → owner recognizes dog → gentle reunion → same healthy dog in a warm ending. No weapons anywhere, no supernatural light beams, no extra characters, no dialogue, captions, logos or copyrighted song. Quiet rain transitioning to natural waves. Keep believable hands, paws and dog anatomy.
How these examples were made
We tested Seedance 2 Mini, Seedance 2.5, Seedance 2.0 Fast and Kling 3.0. Fast used two independent portraits; Kling used a prepared first frame from our own earlier video. Inputs, output sizes and prompts differ, so these are workflow examples rather than a controlled model ranking. The featured result is Fast, generated on October 6, 2026.
Identity and role checks
Check each face in the encounter and memory. The human must stay human; the zombie partner must become healthy again in the memory. Look for merged people, changed hair and lost accessories.
Transition and movement checks
Look for a readable aimed gun, lowering before contact, believable arms and a healthy warm ending. Our accepted Fast sample uses a gradual transition. Earlier tests use hard cuts and sometimes change camera side or body pose. Both styles can tell the story; continuity matters more than a specific transition label.
Cost and quality checks
Record actual provider costs and failed attempts separately from the displayed retail price. Higher resolution cannot automatically repair swapped identities or a broken transition. No success rate will be advertised without a defined test sample.
